What makes you laugh?
“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22
Part of my daily plan is laughter. Sometime it comes naturally, my puppy is an easy source of laughter. His silly shenanigans, sliding across the floor as he chases a toy, or jumping so high he flips. It is hard not to laugh.
Children are another great source of laughter. They can say the funniest things. The due the cutest things, especially when you are not the one responsible for their antics. I am not around children as much, but when I am laughter is usually present.
On a daily basis, I intentionally stop to listen to a comedian to make sure I laugh for the day. Lately it has been from the podcast Michael Jr. Funny How Life Works. Other comedians I enjoy, Mark Lowry, Chonda Pierce, John Crist, and Tim Hawkins. I typically will pull them up on YouTube, although I have seen a few in person also.
Making the opportunity to laugh daily is important. Find something that makes you laugh and let the giggles roll.
