Thank you for stopping in to visit.  I write about restoring lives in order to help hurting and discouraged people through my personal testimony, scriptures, and my training. I do this because God has given me a passion for helping others past their pain and brokenness. My mission is to connect my God given purpose to my passion of helping people.

Life has given me a lot of experiences to write about. God is also giving me new insight into things, stretching me, and growing me in to who He designed me to be when I finally grow up!

That being said, I believe every experience I have been through has been for the benefit of others. It is not my job to tell others’ stories. It is my passion to help people who are in circumstances that I have been through. And to share the wisdom that God has given me to help people through circumstances I haven’t faced.

I have been a Christian since I was eight years old.  I admitted I was a sinner in need of a Savior.  I was baptized giving a public confession of my faith.  Raised in church, I knew I needed a Savior.  It would be much later in my life before I realized I serve a God who wants relationship.  I walked away from the Lord for many years; I am so thankful that He drew me back to Him. I have been serving the Lord since 1992 when He brought me back into fellowship with Him and other believers.

It has not always easy, but it is always worth it.

I am the youngest of five siblings. Both my parents have went to be with our Lord.  I was blessed to walk beside them through their journey home.  I am married to my junior high sweetheart, this is our second marriage to each other.  I am a mother of three adult children. I also have five grandchildren and two heaven grandbabies.

I am a social worker by profession. I have worked in child welfare, psychiatric hospital, medical hospital, medical clinic, insurance, private practice, and nonprofit. I love being a social worker.  Although I can’t share the personal stories due to confidentiality, God has given me wisdom to help others through things I couldn’t imagine. Often times I can share the lesson, but without the story. My life has been blessed to touch the lives of many; I am blessed to be used by God doing what I am passionate about.

The Bible wasn’t meant to just be read.  It was meant to be practiced.

I am created and called to express my faith through love especially by caring for hurting people. I do this by connecting them with resources to help them grow in relationship with God, themselves, and their family. I also teach others to use their gifts and talents to further the kingdom of God.
