About Jackie S

I have been through a lot in life, but through Christ I am more than an overcomer. I am not perfect, I will never claim to be. Praise God I am forgiven though. I am rather opinionated. I see most things in black and white and believe honesty is always the best policy. This combination sometimes comes off harsh. The truth is I love people. I truly love helping others and try the believe the best about others. It is easy to find faults, but focusing on strengths is more my style, but I also shoot it straight. If it sounds harsh, know my heart is for something better for you

I am His

Song of Solomon 2:16  My beloved is mine, and I am his; he pastures his flock among the lilies. I belong to God and He belongs to me.  It can not be out of possession, but out of desire.  When … Continue reading

Anything is Possible #Write28Days

When you are in the midst of brokenness, everything can feel impossible, especially change and healing.  When I was younger, I would often hear adults quote Henry Ford’s  “Whether you think you can or you  think you can’t, you’re right.”  … Continue reading

Anemoia #Write28Days

I was looking up synonyms for nostalgia and came across a word that I had never really heard before. In fact I couldn’t find a definition in a dictionary other than the urban dictionary online, although many posts talked of … Continue reading

Broken Relationships #Write28Days

Surprise, Surprise! #Write28Days

I think the biggest surprise to me in my personal healing process has been that just when I think I healed in one area, suprise, suprise, I realize I’m not. I have realized that just as God takes us from … Continue reading

It isn’t exact #write28days

I wish that healing was an exact science. Unlike most sciences, there is not a magic ratio to healing that given in the right dose, for the right amount of time in the right combination. It would be nice if … Continue reading
