Prayers for All

Heavenly Father, today my heart hurts for those who have walked away from You. I think about the dry bones in Ezekiel 37 and know they were once alive, Lord there are many who have strayed away from You. Blinded by the bling of the world or disillusioned by the lies of the enemy, they have lost their way, Lord breathe fresh life in them today. Draw them by Your Spirit and make Yourself real to them. Like the prodigal son, do what is necessary to wake them up and bring them back from the life of sin.

Lord, I lift up those who have never known You, surround them with people whose lights shine brightly for You. Holy Spirit draw them to knowledge of God as they can only come to Christ as You reveal Him. Lord You are not willing that any should perish, so draw them.

Lord, I lift up those who like Saul, the Pharisees and Sadducee’s think they are serving You but really are not. Lord, soften their hearts, teach them to walk humbly, love justice and do mercy. Let them encounter You and transform their lives just as you transformed Saul to Paul, and you opened the eyes of Joseph and Nicodemus.

And Lord, I lift up Your Church, those who know You and desire to follow You. Increase our desire to know You more. Help us to walk in unity of mind, of heart, of love and purpose with each other. Lord, help us to love Your Word and walk in obedience to You. Let Your Holy Spirit led us as we walk in surrender to You.

Let Your Spirit reign in this city, county, state and nation, Root up the things in our lives that have pulled us from keeping You in Your rightful place and the generational things that have been passed down that are not of You. Bind the work of the enemy and let us walk in Your freedom. In Jesus name, amen
