Birthing Process

“For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body”. Romans‬ ‭8:22-23‬ ‭‬‬

Even though we who have excepted Him are children of God, there is still a longing and birthing process as we wait for the fulfillment of all that Christ has for us as sons and daughters.

Birthing forth the fulfillment is still a painful process. There are things we have to pass through even as a child must pass through the birth canal. There are things that we must cut even as the umbilical cord is cut. There are things that must be washed away even as the mother and the born child are cleaned. And there are things that must fall away even as a placenta must still fall and the child loses the film over their eyes.

We have to walk out the process of growing and because we live in a fallen world it will not be easy. But we can trust Christ because He is our Father and He is good. The journey will be worth it in the end.

Lord thank You for the promises that still lay ahead. Thank you for the salvation and deliverance and the birthing process I will still walk through until the completion of your promises. Sleep well
