Super Tuesday Prayer

Heavenly Father, although Tuesday is not significant in New Mexico, we know that a third of the delegations in the presidential race will be determined this week. We pray that each and every person will get out and exercise their right to help make a decision. Lord we ask that there be no false reporting or allegations of such during this election cycle. Let the delegates vote according to the will of the people they represent. I pray Lord that you would be with every candidate and every man and woman that holds a public office, help them to walk in integrity, doing what is best for all the people they represent, from the youngest child to the elderly citizens. Help the leaders to be good stewards of the finances that are collected and use money to best support the citizens they represent. I pray that all people will respect those in authority realizing that not all leaders are godly, but their place of authority comes from You. I pray that the news outlets will only be able to report honest facts and will not fuel the division that has taken place the past two election cycles. Give us eyes to see the truth, ears to hear Your voice, and wisdom to discern the spiritual climate. In Jesus name, Amen.
