“Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7
I am so thankful for God’s unfailing love and that His grace is new every morning. I was raised in church. I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was eight years old. I was baptized in water and then in my late teenage years in tongues. But I strayed from the Lord.
He pursued me. When I was ready to seek Him, He was there to let me find Him. He heard me when I cried out to Him with brokenness and a repentant heart. He turned me back towards Him, forsaking the sin that so easily ensnared me.

As my mind was renewed through the Word, my thoughts begin to change. The anger began to subside. The negatives turned into positives. The lens through which I viewed things slowly changed, bringing the kingdom view into vision with clarity and sharpness.
He let me return to Him. He gave me the time I needed for it to be my choice to come to Him. He was patient with me. He gave me the opportunity to find my way back to Him.
Again, I am go grateful for His grace. He pardoned my sin. He forgave me for turning my back and walking away from Him. He let go of the hurt I caused Him, and accepted me back with open arms. Today I know that I am loved and I am forgiven.
