DIY disasters

The most ambitious DIY I have undertaken was building a porch on our doublewide. I admit after gathering the materials, I became more of a supervisor.

The porch was small, maybe 6×6 or 8×8 in size. Made of cement cinder blocks, filled with rocks from the yard, and then cement on top. We had vinyl rails and stairs. It was probably one of the most expensive little projects as I had no idea what I was doing, and the guys we had helping us didn’t either. We probably could have build a wrap around for what we spent on that little landing space.
