Fleeting

Charm misleads

Pretending to be

Someone it is not.

Leading lovers astray

When true colors

Are revealed.

Beauty is

Skin deep

and fleeting

When we are young

We think it will

Never leave

As we age

We learn

Beauty

Is in the eye

Of the beholder.

Loving the Lord

Honoring Him

With our words

And actions

That leaves

A legacy

Charm and beauty

Never will.
