The Wealth He Gives

Riches and honor are with me,
    enduring wealth and righteousness. Proverbs 8:18

As much as I would love this promise to be about money when it speaks of riches and enduring wealth, it is speaking of wisdom. Wisdom is a wealth that lasts and provides a path to righteousness when applied. When we fear God and allow our pursuit of Him to give direction, these things will be added to our life. When we act with wisdom, we will act with honor.

Prayer – Lord, I want more wisdom. I want a deeper relationship with you. I long for more of Your presence. I know this means more listening to Your voice and obeying. I need more of Your wisdom in how to fulfill Your purpose in my life. I want to hear Your voice above all the noise.
