“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
If I consider that my days are numbered, I am more intentional with my time. It is easy for me to fall into a routine and treat every day without thought. Weeks, months, even years go by and I realize that I have lost touch with those things that are important to me, but not part of my every day routine.
Prayer – Lord teach me to number my days. Teach me to use wisdom in how I spend my time. Let me be intentional with both my words and actions. Help me to use my time for Kingdom purpose instead of just going with the flow or whatever I feel like doing in the moment. Let this be an intentional prayer in my life. Teach me to number my days that I may get a heart of wisdom.
