“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalms 46:10
“Be still and know that I am God.”
He often whispers those words
In the busyness of life
To still me before Him.
To remind me that it is not in my doing,
but in who He is,
I can allow myself to be still
And know that he alone
Is in control.
It is a powerful lesson,
but one that He must repeat frequently
To this task oriented girl.
It is only in the stillness
that I can hear
His gentle whisper
His love
His truth
His call to come to Him.

Prayer – Lord, as all around me is quiet and still in this early hour, I know that those I love are facing battles within and around, Lord you are the only one that can give them rest. You can still their minds and give peace to their souls. I pray this for my husband, for my daughters and my son, for their spouses, for their children, for my siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. I pray for healing and wholeness, body, mind, soul, and spirit. I pray for a renewed connection with the truth that You are our God. I pray for open doors for employment opportunities. I pray for health and wellness in my family. I pray your unity in the relationships in our family and for wisdom, favor, and truth to rule in our lives. Thank you father for hearing my prayers and for your timely answers. In Christ name I pray. Amen
