Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh (Psalm 2:1-4).
Heavenly Father, I thank You for America’s armed forces. With so much war around the world and rumors of war as Your Word declares will happen, I pray for U.S. military readiness. Lord, strengthen our men and women. Give them mental strength and physical strength, grow them spiritually. Build them together in unity.
I pray that the US intelligence agencies will be alert to every threat to subvert and destroy America. I ask that You give the leaders wisdom and guidance. Help them to act with honor and integrity. Let things that are being done in the dark be brought to light and let the truth prevail.
I ask Lord for protection of our troops, leaders and our people. I ask for divine intervention, and pray that You overthrow every enemy’s plans so that peace will reign in our land and in Israel. Lord You gave the prophet the plans of the enemy against Israel before so they could protect their land, Lord do it again.
I pray that the alliance of Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and any other country that wants to harm the US or Israel would break up and not endanger the U.S. or other nations.
I pray for the lost and ask for laborers for the great harvest that will usher in Your kingdom. Lord, help all of Your people to be willing to take the stand and share Your gospel with boldness. Help us to be willing to walk alongside the lost without being influenced by them to disciple them as Your Holy Spirit leads them to the saving knowledge of Christ. I pray that in this time of global uncertainty and fear, the Gospel of Christ will spread to every unreached people group around the world. I ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.
