Extended Prayer

The Grace Room Lord, as this year starts, I want to thank You for Your faithfulness in 2023. I am thankful for Your love and that You let me be there with Diane when Auntie died and gave me the words to honor Auntie in her memorial service. Thank You for Your protection and blessing as we traveled. It was nice seeing old friends and connect with family. Thank You for Your provision in my life and that You provided me the time to spend with You and in writing and the financial provision while I was working just part time. Thank You for the growth in my life and in Tim’s life. Lord You have blessed me with a good church family, a good family, good friends, a good job and career, and a good community to live. You have blessed me Lord more than I will ever deserve and I am thankful to You for it. I am blessed as Your child and that has everything to do with Your character. Thank You for salvation, for Holy Spirit, for creation, and the amazing sunrises and sunsets. Thank You for hot air balloons in the sky. Thank You for health and transportation. Thank You that my needs and many of my wants are met.

The examination room Lord, forgive me for disobedience, gluttony and laziness. I know there were things You instructed me to do in the way of exercise that I disobeyed because of comfort and warmth. You were not even asking me to give more time, just walk while I listened. If there are other areas of disobedience, Lord revealed them to me. I’m trying to hear and obey immediately. Forgive me for the sin of gluttony and laziness that have caused the temple of Holy Spirit to be bigger than it needs to be. Help me to do better in this area for You. I know I need Holy Spirit’s help.

The Courtyard Lord, I receive Your forgiveness. I can’t change the past but Your word promises if I confess my sins that You are faithful and just to forgive my sins and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I receive Your cleansing and the right standing with God that is mine in Christ Jesus!

The Intercession Bench Lord I pray that You would help my husband get the diabetes and other health issues in check. Help Him to be the man that You created him to be and see himself as You see him.

I lift up my son and daughter-in-law in their plans to sell their house and move, this is Your will I pray that You would help them to get a good deal in selling and buying their new home in the area that You have for them. Connect them to the right school system and doctors for their health needs. Be with Dallas as he has this surgery on his parathyroid, bring healing to my son’s body let it line up with the finished work of Christ.

I ask for safe travels for my daughter and her boyfriend as they visit his family. Lord, I ask that You would bring her back to You. Close the doors that she has opened to the enemy and help her eyes to be open to her part in opening those doors.

Lord, I asked that you would draw my oldest daughter and son-in-law back to You. Help them to see the need for fellowship and growth with other believers.

Lord I ask that You would be with each of my grandchildren. Help them to grow in wisdom and stature in You. Let them walk worthy of the calling that You have on each of their lives.

Lord be with my friends as they learn to find their new normal without their spouses. Help them to stay connected to You and to Your body.

I lift up the many attacks of illness and disease that are coming against my church family. I declare health, completeness, wholeness, peace, soundness of mind and welfare to their family in 2024. Let the attacks of the enemy cease and let every member, family, and friend attached to them be able to see Your hand and give You glory as they encounter and receive You.

I lift those under the attack of the spirit of depression. Let Your joy be their strength this season and let them walk free of this oppressing spirit that Christ already has the victory in.

Lord I lift up marriages and those who are trying to honor You as they pursue a godly relationship. I pray that You would strengthen and encourage couples. I pray that they would understand the enemy’s attacks and stand in You in love and unity together against the attacks. Your word says what You have brought together let no man separate. Help each partner to stay committed to fighting for their marriage. Give them a renewed passion for their spouse and open up deeper levels of communication in these relationships.

I lift up the pastors in Valencia County and ask that You renew their strength. I pray that You give them a fresh anointing and a vision for the year ahead. I ask that You would guide and direct pastors and their leadership team to stand in unity to equip the body of Christ. I pray for the Church that we would walk in one accord, having the mind of Christ, and the love to do the works of the ministry.

The Perspective Place Lord, I lift up my clients to You that seemed to be stuck. If I need to refer them on, show me Father God. Lord I don’t believe there is any one You can’t help. Give me insight and how to help them. Help me know what I need to say or do to help them break free from their past and press forward to the goals that You have for them.

Help me to be compassionate with my husband. I feel that pulling as I try to press in closer to You. Help me to be an encouragement to him, not discourage him. I want to see him take better care of himself but know my way is not his way, so show me Your way.

The Meditation Rock His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4

Lord you say you grant to us all things that pertain to your life and godliness through your knowledge.. To build a platform for this coaching and for writing. I don’t want any platform not centered on you and built by you. Major wisdom and understanding to know what I need to do. Is a way off from 300. I’m not a marketer, so I need you to help me to know what to do or who to connect with.

• 1Corinthians 3:12-15 we build on the foundation with our work to either survive or it is burnt up
• 1 Thessalonians 5:11 build one another up
• Jude 1:20 build yourself up in your most holy faith
• Psalms 127:1 unless the Lord builds it, you labor in vain
• Proverbs 24:3 by wisdom it is built, by understanding it is established
• Luke 14:27-30 count the cost

Lord I see that there will be a cost, so help me to prepare financially. I can build on what others do, but I need You to help me build with Your wisdom and understanding. I need to build up others and encourage myself in the process to keep my faith strong.

Valley of Abundance Lord You know what I will really need to fulfill the call You have on my life. I place my faith in You that if I’m giving what You say to give and being obedient to what You tell me to give, I can trust You will provide what seems impossible right now.

The Shadow of Death/High Places I have to admit Lord, stepping out of my comfort zone is difficult. Believing that I can influence a large group for You is hard. Believing I can be a writer and print journals seems impossible but I am trusting You. You put these things in my heart. You direct me. You take delight in me wanting to bring You glory and even though I may stumble You are the one responsible for the outcome.

Show me what steps to take to the high places. I trust You God. I release control. I will obey. I will continue to repeat this process!

Restoration Pool I think my need right now is just to learn to ask You. You have shown me I can trust You for all I have need. I have understood You know my need and I just expected You would meet it and You have. As I step deeper into You, I want to also ask and receive. I love that You’ve met me where I was but I know Your Word just to ask and You shall receive. I want to obey and ask. I have rested in You and love that it is a place I can return too often!
