The Plan

I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29:11

If I believe that God has plans to prosper me, why do I question the difficult times? If His plan is for prosperity and hope, if the plan doesn’t currently look like that, then God’s not done! He knows the plans He has for my life. If I am seeking Him and following His guidance it will work out for His glory in the end. It may not be in my timing. It may not look like I think it should. But it will be full of hope and prosperity if it is from God. It may not be prosperity in the world’s eyes, but God cares about my welfare and has promised to supply what I need.

Lord, forgive me for doubting You. For doubting your plans for my life and for the times that I have tried to take control from You. I trust Your plans are better than mine; You care about my welfare and want me to have a good future. I know You always keep Your word and that Your ways are better and higher than mine. I keep my trust in You. In Jesus Name Amen.
