Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.
I loved the majority of my life in Northwest Arkansas. I was born there and it has always been home. In college, I moved north to Missouri, but always desires to move back “home” from 1999 – 2011 when I finally was able to move our family back.
In 2020, in the midst of COVID, my husband was laid off. He was recruited by three companies in New Mexico. I had never been, but let him move us there. He arrived in October and got us a house. I had to wait for my professional license to be transferred. I visited Nee Mexico for the first time Thanksgiving weekend. Then I packed up our house in Arkansas and me moved the day after Christmas.
As I drove across the state line, I felt like I was home. Twice my husband has asked if I want to move back to Arkansas. I miss my family and friends there, but Mew Mexico is home now, no regrets.
