Random Encounters

Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.

Shortly after my mother died, I had an encounter with a patient’s family. The man could not have known the words he spoke would carry so much weight, I didn’t share my journey with him. He was there for his family. It was May 2016, my mother passed at the end of March 2016. He was a pastor from another city, it was our first or maybe second contact. He didn’t know me and I didn’t know him. He didn’t know about my marriage or my dreams. God used Him to speak to my heart that day.

I hope it ministers to someone else like it does to me, it’s not the complete words he spoke to me, but things that I know God thinks about His children from what was said:

God says that you are beautiful.
God loves your smile.
God loves that you love others and wishes more people had your heart.
God loves you and he favors you.
Some things that you have been praying and waiting on are about to happen.
The dreams that have been dormant are about to come true.
You have been in the eye of the storm, that God has kept you.
God will never leave you or lie to you.

I have always been told that when a word goes out, even for a specific person that others can grab hold of it for themselves. Grab hold of what you need! The Lord loves you!!!
