Prayer from Psalm 98

I sing a new song to You Lord;

Thank You for the song that is in my heart this morning.

You have done mighty and wonderful things!

It is by Your own power and holy strength

I have the victory in my life.

Lord at Resurrection You announced Your victory;

You made Your saving power known to the nations.

You kept Your promise to Your children,

With loyalty and constant love You suffered and died.

All people everywhere have seen Your victory over death and sin.

I sing for joy to the Lord;

I praise You with songs and shouts of joy!

I sing praises to You Lord!

I play music and shout for joy to You Lord, my king.

The ocean roars with Your praise,

The sea and every creature bow to you;

Lord let the earth and all who live on it praise You!

I clap my hands, and worship You

The rivers and hills, sing together with joy before You Lord,

You came to rule the earth.

You will rule the peoples of the world

With justice and fairness.

You came to reign in my life.

You are wonderful!
