“Protect us, O God; we trust in You for safety. You are our Lord; all the good things we have come from You. How excellent are You Lord to Your faithful people! Your greatest pleasure is to be with us.
Those who rush to other gods bring many troubles on themselves. We will not take part in their sacrifices; we will not worship their gods.
You, Lord, are all we have, and You give us all we need; our future is in Your hands. As the cost of things rise in this world, we look to You Lord for our provision. We rely on You to meet our needs.
How wonderful are Your gifts to us; how good they are! We praise You Lord, because You guide us and in the night our conscience warns us. Let us be always aware of Your presence Lord; when You are near nothing can shake us.
And so we are thankful and glad, and we feel completely secure, because You protect us. We serve You faithfully, and You will not abandon us. You will show us the path that leads to life; Your presence fills us with joy and brings us through pleasure forever.”
