“Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1
It takes big faith to know that I have been made right with God. Most people struggle at some point in their walk with God wondering “Am I really saved?” For me personally, over the past thirty-nine years, I have questioned myself many times, “Am I really right with God?”
I know I’ve prayed the prayer of salvation. I’ve repented of my sins. I’ve made a public declaration of my faith through baptism and
in sharing my testimony. I’ve been filled with the Holy Spirit. I know I’m saved.

Even in times when I feel like an imposter, I know that God has changed my life. I know He continues to work in my life. There is absolutely no question in my mind that He has transformed me. Regardless of times I have failed Him completely, I know by His grace I am not where I used to be.
My hope is in Him, not in myself. Even when my mind starts to question, I can rest in peace knowing my hope is in Jesus Christ. It is not what I have done, but what He has done that makes me right with God. I can live by His faith.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 KJV
Big faith is really Jesus’s faith. I can live and walk in it. I can find reassurance and peace in knowing I am right with God because I have put my faith in Jesus. When questions come I can remind myself that what Jesus did on the cross finished things once and for all. He is the answer when I start to question.
