Rely

Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of armies. Zechariah 4:6

Jesus was fully dependent on Holy Spirit. He didn’t try to do it on His own. If He being he Son of God needed Holy Spirit that much, how much more do I?

Our relationship with God is dependent on Holy Spirit. It is how we can obey Him. It is how we know we belong to Him. Blessings and all good things from from Holy Spirit.

I have to stop trying to accomplish things though my own power and might. It is only by God’s Spirit that I can operate as Jesus did. I can’t hold on to control and expect Him to operate fully in my life.

Prayer – Holy Spirit help me to rely fully on You. I need Your strength in my weakness. I need Your power to live as a witness. To put it plainly, I need You!
