Blown by God

You make known to me the path of life;
    in your presence there is fullness of joy;
    at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

Life as a Christian was meant to be lived in His presence. If I’m walking with God, being led by Holy Spirit, He will direct my path in life. Yes, I may still misstep at times, but if I am staying close to Him that misstep will not derail me. It will be a quick course correct. There will be joy even in times of pain and sorrow. No, I will not be jumping for joy at the death of a loved one, but God will give me moments of joy in the memories shared or through another circumstance completely.

God doesn’t want us to live our lives in a vacuum where he is contained only “religious” activities. He wants to be more of a blower. Where He moves us in the path He wants us to go and spreads His influence farther than just us.

Lord I thank You for that word picture. Help me to let You blow anywhere You like in my life and world.
