Foundation

For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11

One of the best things I did as a parent is give my children a strong foundation in Jesus Christ. Other things may have been built upon that foundation, but their foundation was the Lord. Regardless of what the world throws at them, it cannot undo the foundation. I am trying to lay that same foundation with my children’s children. I believe that once it is firmly laid, another foundation cannot be laid in its place.

Lord thank You for parents who laid the foundation of Christ in my life and that despite my rocky past that foundation remained. I pray that my children would tear down anything built on their foundation that is not of You. I pray that each of my grandchildren only have godly things built on the foundation of their lives. In Jesus name amen.
