“Who is this who looks down like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awesome as an army with banners?” Song of Solomon 6:10
The devotional today from Jonathan Cahn in the Book of Mysteries talked about this passage. He shared how we the church are the moon, and that our beauty does not come from the natural. Just as the moon has many imperfections on the surface, its beauty comes in the reflection from the sun.
My beauty does not come for me but my reflection of the Creator, the reflection of the Savior, and my transparency as I allow Holy Spirit to shine in and through me. It is His beauty.
Lord thank You for allowing me to reflect Your image. Thank You for letting me reflect Your light, Your power and Your work. Help me to do so boldly.
