Walls

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
    your walls are continually before me. Isaiah 49:16

God has me engraved on His palms, and my walls are constantly before Him. I looked up walls wondering if there was a significance, it means walls, like the walls around the city of Jerusalem.

Are these walls I have built for self protection?

Are the walls literally before Him in my life?

He sees all, but are my walls what He sees when He looks at me after glancing at His palms?

Are the pictures of His children filling in nail scars in His hands?

And are the walls something He desires to tear down because I don’t need protection from Him?

Lord give me a clearer revelation of this passage. I want no walls between us. I want You continually before me, beside me, and behind me that I may dwell with You without borders. Give me that desire of my heart. Help me to remove anything that keeps me from You.
