No Sin

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Christ didn’t just take on my sin to remove it from me. He became my sin that in His death, it would die also. Sin should not have power over me. Sin is dead. It was buried and only Christ rose victoriously over sin and death.

Gluttony is a sin. It is one I struggle with, but it should have no power over me because it died on the cross with Christ. I choose to let it into my life. I have to choose not to.

Lord, thank You for taking sin upon You and destroying it once and for all. Help me to walk in the victory of Your righteousness. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
