Keep the Faith, Do Good

Passage –  So let those who are suffering according to God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator by continuing to do what is good. 1 Peter 4:19

Restated in your own words – If you’re suffering in God’s will, keep your faith in God by doing good.

Application to your own life – So many times I get sick of the struggle. I ponder too long on the thought that if I just quit fighting the enemy would stop attacking. I know that compromising my belief system would only lead to sorrow and that walking in faith with God is my choice. Choice I want to make. I will continue doing good because that is what Christ called me to do. Those gifts that he has blessed me with are for doing good for others.

Your response back to God – Thank you Lord that when I am weak you are strong. I’m weary in the struggle, you strengthen me. I pray that you would continue to help me walk faithful to you. Continue to do good give me wisdom and discernment.
