God Revealed

For all humanity is like grass,
all its glory is like a wildflower —
the grass withers, and the flower falls off;
but the Word of Adonai lasts forever.

Moreover, this Word is the Good News which has been proclaimed to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25

Restated in my own words – Things in this world quickly fade away but the Word of God that is real to you last forever.

Application to my own life – There are truths that have been revealed in my life from the Word of God that no one can take away. They are real in my life and will not fade. The more I allow God’s Word to live in my life the more that I will stand in His truth.

For example, I know God is my Comforter. Not just because the Word says so but because it has been proclaimed in my life. He has comforted me through the death of my parents, grandparents, acquaintances and two closest friends. I know God is my provider because He has provided for me through every hard season in my life.

Your response back to God – Lord I thank You for all the ways that You have been revealed in my life. Thank You for allowing Your truth to be proclaimed in and through my life.
