What’s your GoT name?

POD #1: What’s your GoT name?

Here’s your writing prompt for Day 1. Whether you watch the show or not, write about this: if you could create your own Game of Thrones name, what would it be? What are the descriptors that would capture the essential qualities of you: the you you are in the process of becoming, not the you you have been in the past, or the you your family has always told you you are.

What would your name be, what would your essence be, if you could sum up who you are becoming without referencing your old limitations, traumas or even current circumstances?

How’s that for a warm-up prompt?

With head up and heart out, and so much love to you for coming along on this journey.

name I admit I have never watched Game of Thrones. My husband has recently started watching it on Netflix, so I have glanced at it in passing.  I have had no interest in it.  This is way outside my comfort zone, but I guess that is what challenges are for.

I am Jackie Schnedler. Servant of the Most High God.  Lover of her husband.  Helper to the community, Swimmer in the pool, Walker in the Land, Disseminator of knowledge about resources, Consumer of pickles, black olives and salsa, Reader of The Word, Writer of faith, hope, and restoration, Mother of three, Mimi to four.  The first of her name.

This post is prompted by Tara-Nicholle Nelson’s 30 Day Writing Challenge for Conscious Leaders.

About Jackie S

I have been through a lot in life, but through Christ I am more than an overcomer. I am not perfect, I will never claim to be. Praise God I am forgiven though. I am rather opinionated. I see most things in black and white and believe honesty is always the best policy. This combination sometimes comes off harsh. The truth is I love people. I truly love helping others and try the believe the best about others. It is easy to find faults, but focusing on strengths is more my style, but I also shoot it straight. If it sounds harsh, know my heart is for something better for you
