Scripture – God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will not only be enough for your own needs but plenty left over to give joyfully to others. 2 Corinthians 9:8
Thoughts about what Scripture means – God promises that when we give, he will make sure we have enough for our own needs and enough to bless others with also.
Application to my life – Giving can be quite contagious. Like that is the way God designed it. For us to bless others, he wants us to give to our local church. To give our lives to him. Give Comic God doesn’t leave us empty handed. We give, he empties our hands of what we hold to release future blessings into our lives. That we may again have our need met and then meet the needs of others.
1 Corinthians 8:12 give according to what you have.
Psalms 25:1 give your life to God.
Matthew 10:12 give your blessings.
Proverbs 15:7 give good advice.
Proverbs 25:21 give food and water to your enemies.
Luke 10:25 Give to Caesar what belongs to him.
1 Chronicles 29:14 give what God has given you.
Numbers 18:29 give to the Lord the best portions.
Psalms 109:30 and Philippians 1:3 give thanks to the Lord.
Acts 4:35 give to those in need.
Proverbs 11:24 give freely.
1 Peter 5:7 give your worries and fears to God.
2 Corinthians 9:7 give cheerfully.
Job 22:24 give up your love for money.
Psalms 37:26 give generously.
Psalms 96:8 give glory to the Lord.
Psalms 23:25 give your parents joy.
Response back to God – Lord I want to give you everything that you have called me to give. And with the right attitude. I give you myself I surrender my life to your will.
