It will be granted

Scripture – But if you stay in me and obey my commands, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! John 15:7

Thoughts about what this scripture means – If I abide in Christ and follow His commands, I will ask from Him and I will receive.

Application to my life – Everything I need is provided through my relationship with Christ. When I press in and stay connected to him, my desire to obey him will grow. My desire to obey him grows, my request will be more in line with the will of God. God always brings his will to fruition.

I am currently asking God for:

Salvation in my family. God’s word says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your family. God is not willing that you need to perish but that all should have eternal life.

That my children would serve God with their whole lives. Train of a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it.

That I would follow God in obedience, trust, and faith. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

For provision of volunteers, finances, wisdom and resources in the nonprofit organizations that I am connected. My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches and glory.

For the clients of the nonprofit organizations and which I’m connected. If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto Me.

The government. Wise, knowledgeable leaders bring stability.

The church body. We are the body of Christ, with individual roles to play and meet each other and need to do our parts.

Response back to God – Lord I continue to lift these things up to You, knowing that Your word will not return void. I abide in You and You abide in me. Let these requests be heard by You and be done swiftly. In Jesus Name. amen
