He Will Tell Us

Scripture – Ask me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here. Jeremiah 33:3

Thoughts about what this Scripture means – God promises to tell us great things if we ask.

Application to my life – God knows everything and if we communicate with Him regularly He will tell us what is going on. We have to be listening though. I remember when I was fired from a job a few years ago, I had a dream I needed to quit. It was very vivid. My pastor told me to quit and I argued with him in the dream explaining all the reasons I could not. I ended up fired for undue cause.

When my pastor stepped out of his role, God showed me. He did not show me his sin, but I could see the weight he was carrying. I knew that something was wrong and he was stepping back.

I remember when God showed me He has answered the prayer for my associates pastors to have a baby.

I remember when He showed me it was time to leave the church I had been attending. This helped as I joined a new church plant.

God has been speaking to me about the visions. He is talking with me about covenants. It isn’t always clear, His voice is not audible but a feeling that draws me to those things.

Sometimes it is a dream, a vision in worship, how He directs prayers, His Word, messages I hear, a feeling I can not shake. I have found He will even answer if I am asking the wrong questions. He will show us great things if we are inclined to His voice and have our eyes opened to look for Him.

Response back to God – Lord, I love You and I am thankful that You still talk to Your people and bring fresh revelation of the good things to come. Lord, let my ear be inclined to hear Your voice. Let my eyes be open to see You move. Let my heart be prepared to receive so that whatever it is I can be obedient to act.
