Direct Access

Scripture – Now all of us, whether Jews or Gentiles, may come to God the Father with the Holy Spirit’s help because of what Christ has done for us. Ephesian 2:18

Thoughts about what this scripture means – I have direct access to God, through Holy Spirit.

Application to my life – I don’t need a priest to talk to Him on my behalf. I can offer my own sacrifices of obedience, praise and thanksgiving to Him. Jesus died and paid the complete price for repentance of my sins, faults, and failures. Holy Spirit was sent to live within me. I can come to God anytime and always with my cares, concerns, to repent to offer a sacrifice of praise and to just talk to my Heavenly Father.

Response back to God – Let me not take for granted the work of Holy Spirit and my access to You God.
