Disclaimer – I did not write much of what is written below. It came from a book I read or a message I heard, I am not sure but it was too good to not share. I will look for where this came from but wanted to share anyway as it is my thoughts intertwined with some awesome wisdom I did not come up with.
#1 Good intentions are nothing without action. We must implement the truth as Christ reveals it to us. The longer truth lingers the more likely it is to lose its power to change us. Unused truth erodes our identity.
#2 An explosive desire to act on the voice of God, the energy of the Holy Spirit produces a desire in the Christian to put forth effort. The fire that ignites the why. Take up your weapon. Join your weapon with God’s hand. Aim towards the enemy. Continue to victory. Go offensive instead of defensive. God is totally self-sustaining.
#3 Choose a target that is feasible. “If God before us, who can be against us?” We must also have faith. We must go against meaningful targets and our attack must be focused and overwhelming. We must team up, focus our prayer and attack. BE original in appearance but rooted in classical truth. Get rid of the nonessential points of your defense focus on the necessary and get rid of the rest.
As for us, however, our boasting will not go beyond certain limits; it will stay within the limits of the work which God has set for us, and this includes our work among you. And since you are within those limits, we were not going beyond them when we came to you, bringing the Good News about Christ. So we do not boast about the work that others have done beyond the limits God set for us. Instead, we hope that your faith may grow and that we may be able to do a much greater work among you, always within the limits that God has set. 2 Corinthians 10:13-15
Our friends, we command you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to keep away from all believers who are living a lazy life and who do not follow the instructions that we gave them. 2 Thessalonians 3:6
#4 The fire to fulfill the passion (Spiritual and Physical) get to the battleline first in prayer. tear down strongholds in the heavenlies, then be willing to go in and take it. Do not linger in temptation be prepared for flexibility long delays or fast changes. We must work in our circle of authority, put a deadline on your dream and your life on the line.
#5 After our attack be prepared for the counter attacks. Realize we are either an available target or available weapon. We have to put on the amour of God to outwit and detect Satan’s attacks. We must be aware of our flesh and remember we are more than conquerors through Christ.
No, in all these things we have complete victory through Him who loved us! Romans 8:37
#6 Remember that it all comes from the Lord. If it is something we can do in our own power, we are not thinking large enough. God can not be surprised, but HE can always surprise us.
#7 Unity that comes as God’s people repent and love Him with all their hearts, souls and minds. We must be a cooperative force that pulls together talent and manpower instead of isolation, possessiveness and competition. We must have an attitude op cooperation. We must cooperate with the body of Christ. We must act dependent upon Jesus Christ. We must be right with God, so that we can be right with our fellow believers.
- Move in spite of me
- On my own I should never try to be
#8 Communion with God provoked from within by the Holy Spirit – intimacy. We must remain dependent on God, be in pray continuously. We have to make sure we do not over extend ourselves. The provision of the Lord is for the vision of the Lord. The demands of the Lord grow out of relationship.
Much is required from the person to whom much is given; much more is required from the person to whom much more is given. Luke 12:48
And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause. 2 Corinthians 9:8
Communion with God opens the gates of Heaven. As we truly seek God’s will the fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.
So then, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you will be healed. The prayer of a good person has a powerful effect. James 5:16
#9 Dunamis is a secret that permeates all the other secrets – fighting effectively – using the right thing at the right time in the right place in the right way. A power that blends the wisdom of Holy Spirit, the power of the resurrection and the grace of God. There are many churches and Christian organizations that are good at one things but the talent is wasted if it is not connected to the gifts of the other churches.
#10 We must never be satisfied with our current victory. Until the enemy is defeated for the final time, there will always be another battle. We must be prepared, willing and ready.
