February 1, 2026 prayer

Lord, as we head into a new month of a quickly passing year, we intentionally turn our attention to You, Your Word, Your presence, and our ability to represent You in the world around us as Your body, hands and feet. Lord, let our lives be lived on purpose for Your glory. Let us honor You in all we say and do. Help us to walk in Your joy, Your peace and Your love to the world around us, not just those who believe like we we do, but to the lost and dying, to our enemies, and those who spitefully use us. Help us to walk in Your power and authority recognizing that we have no strength to fulfill Your calling without the help of Holy Spirt. Lord help us to grow in our desire to meditate on Your Word and be obedient to You. We thank You for letting us be part of Your great story. In Jesus name. Amen.
