The View

I love an ocean view, with the vast expanse of water and sky, it reminds me of God’s vast, never ending, never failing love for us. I am reminded that God is love and nothing can seperate His children from Him.

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭

But I also love the view of the big cities at night, with lights of different colors, different sizes, and various brightness and the constant movement. This reminds me of our Christian walk. Each of us is told to let our light shine in the darkness. No two lights are the same, they may vary in brightness, or twinkle, or be farther or closer. Some are moving others have a stayionary spot. Together we break up the darkness of this world. Every light is needed. Where there are people, there is a need for light.

““You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭
