Prayer for the Lost

Lord God, there is no God in heaven or on earth like You, and Your word says that You are not willing that any should perish but that all would come to the saving knowledge of Christ. We know that the harvest is great so first we ask Lord for laborers to bring in Your harvest. Active Your Church, put a passion in our hearts for the lost, to see them reached, to see them come to the saving knowledge of Christ, and disciple them to walk in the fullness of Your calling.

Lord for the lost we pray that You will let them encounter Your love. Allow Your Spirit to draw them to You, remove the veil from their eyes. Help them to come to know the vastness of the sin, their need for a Savior and accept the forgiveness that is available through the finished work of the cross. Help them to receive the free gift of salvation.

Lord for the prodigals we call them home. Lord, they have known your love, they know your saving power but have been led astray by the ways of the world. Open their eyes to their position and Your continued love for them. Help them to see they have a place to return and a loving Father waiting for them.

Lord we lift up those who are deceived in their walk. Help them to open their eyes and heart to Your presence. Help them to break free of the lies that are holding them captive. help them to see the error of their ways, confess their sins and walk in Your forgiveness.

We thank You that You are bringing in the lost souls into the kingdom. We thank You that You love the world, that Your gave Your only begotten Son that whoever believes in You will be saved. Help us to believe Lord, from the youngest to the oldest, from the lost to those walking with You, increase our faith to walk I Your power, Your provision and Your purpose. In Jesus name. Amen.
