Prayers for School Staff

Heavenly Father, we bring our teachers, aides, administrators, staff and school board members to You as the new school year starts up. Lord, you see the struggles that our schools face, the pressure to do more with less, to meet needs of children who are dealing with things many adults have never faced, the red tape and communication problems that come from bureaucracy, when most of these people became interested in their job because they truly want to help children have the best future they can, so Lord we ask for your wisdom to help them face these struggles and still do what is best for the children. Give the staff that work with children patience and compassion, help them to see past behavioral issues and socioeconomic needs to see the children as You do. Help our schools face boards and administrators make decisions that are in the best interest of the children. Give them wisdom in how to best appropriate the resources available from staff to the finances and space. Lord bless every person who is serving in the school systems in this area. Let this be a year where they experience your peace and provision. Lord place a hedge of protection around our schools and the buses and each child. Lord thwart off every attack of the enemy that would try to come against the children of this county or the school staff of this county. Lord help our community to come behind our school staff and support them in meeting the needs of the children. We ask these things in Jesus name, Amen.
