There are fires that are threatening my community tonight. Neighborhoods have been evacuated. Please join with me in praying for protection for those fighting fires, those protecting, those evacuating and those in fear for their lives and safety of their homes here in New Mexico.
Heavenly Father, tonight I come to You asking for a hedge of protection around the men and women who are fighting the fires in Valencia County, the people who are in the path of this fire and around the homes and other structures in the area Lord be with those in charge and give them wisdom in how to get this fire contained and to save as many structures as they safely can that the fire has already reached. Lord, I pray for peace and provision for all those who have been evacuated or who are in the area of this fire. Lord bring unity to this community as people search for answers. Lord I pray that You will reveal the true cause of this fire and bring the things to light. Keep the rumors from taking hold driving fear and division. Lord I also ask for your safety and protection for our most vulnerable people, those without homes, those without insurance, those struggling to name ends meet during this difficult time. Lord put out these earthly fires and rain down the fire of Your Holy Spirit all around this county, spread revival and love though out this land. In Jesus name. Amen.
