1. Praise – “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah”. Psalms 46:1-11
I praise You Heavenly Father for You and my refuge and strength. You are always there for me in times of trouble, which I tend to get into more often than I should, I praise You for Your faithfulness. I praise You that I do not live in fear because I know that You are in control. I praise You because You are in the mist and that You help me every day. I praise You for You are near, I can hear Your voice, You guide and direct me. I praise You Lord for who You are. I praise You that You are God above every other god. I praise You and exalt You above all the nations, above all the earth You are the King of Kings and Lord of lords. You are everything that we need. Lord I praise you and I honor you and I glorify you. Occasion Lord for salvation. I praise You for Your mercy and Your grace. I praise You for Your joy and Your peace that You make available to me. I praise You that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. I praise You Heavenly Father words are never enough for all the praise that is owed to You.
2. Wait – “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.” Psalms 63:1
The more that I wait on You and seek You Lord, the more my soul longs for more time with You. Water quenches my thirst for but a moment, but You are always available to provide the rivers of living water that I need and for me to be able to allow others to drink from You. I long to be close with You, to abide in Your presence continually. Your timing is perfect, You are just and good, when I am waiting it is because You know the bigger picture. You see what I can not. You do not have an ulterior motive, You desire me to serve You and trust You fully.
3. Confession – “Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight— That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.”Psalms 51:1-17
Lord, forgive me for my complaining and critical spirit. I know this is not pleasing to You. This week I have really heard that as I read through Your Word, complaining displeases You. Lord, cleanse me, and allow Your Holy Spirit to rule in my life in this area, that I may submit my mouth and thoughts fully to You and not complain about everything. Forgive me for this pride as I know that complaining is against things that I think I know a better way, and You know better than me. I recognize I don’t always see the bigger picture or the fullness of what You want me to see, I just begin to complain because things do not look like I think they should, or sound how I think they should. I am so sorry for my sin. Let my lips instead sing Your praise.
4. Read the word – “Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.” Matthew 14:22-32
Heavenly Father helped me to keep my eyes upon You as I walk in faith. Remind me it is not the multitude but me You are calling to obey You. Sometimes I felt tossed by the waves, and blown about by the wind, but You have always been there. Help me not to cry out in fear, but to trust You fully. Help me to be willing to always step out in faith and obedience towards what You have call me too. Give me the boldness to say “If it is You Lord asked me to come to You.”, but help me to keep my eyes on You instead of the circumstances. I want to walk in faith, not sink in doubt. You control the waves and the wind, and You hold me in Your righteous right hand.
5. Petition – “All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree.” Isaiah 34:4
Lord, I need You to touch my body. This pain in my neck and spine are too much, bring the healing that comes only from You that is complete and lasting. Lord, help me to hear Your voice as I write, and to be obedient to step out and follow through on what You have called me to write. Lord, I pray that You would help me to be present with my clients and to speak the words that come from You over them and to them. Lord help me to put into action the classes and programs that You have placed within me and to step out in faith that You will bring those that are suppose to be there, big or small, it is for You not me that I am acting and I do not need to fret small beginnings. Lord, provide for me to pay off this debt I have so that I am free to do what You have called me to do and put the finances towards kingdom purposes that You desire me to support.
6. Intersession – “But You, O Lord, be merciful to me, and raise me up, That I may repay them.”
Psalms 41:10
Lord, I lift up my brother-in-law to You. Bring healing to his body, normalize his sodium levels and bring complete healing to his body on this side of heaven. Be with my sister, strengthen her, draw her closer to You during this time, let her walk in Your peace knowing and trusting that You are in control and that healing is coming. Lord I lift up my sister and her husband with the financial attack on their finances and ask You to bring into light what was done in the dark. Lord help them to recover what was taken as well as secure what they have going forward. Lord I also ask that You would keep a hedge of protection around them, the health of each family member, Lord bring healing and restoration to their family in the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual. Lord be with each of my siblings and their children, my children, and the next generation help us to draw closer to You to walk in the fullness of what You have called us to do and worthy of Your calling. Lord I also pray for open doors and wisdom for Cyndee and her daughter in the transition they are facing. Be with Janna and help her to walk in YOur peace and will for her life.
7. Pray the word – ““Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David.” Isaiah 55:1-3
Lord I come to Your waters and I thirst after You. Your word says that any who have no money, can come to You and eat and drink; that You will satisfy with what is good to eat and that our soul may delight in Your abundance. Lord incline Your ear to hear our request let our souls live and not die. Lord our nation is in need of coming to the waters to drink from You. Help us to turn our hearts back to You, to delight ourselves in You. Help us to repent and turn to hear your voice, and allow our lives to be lived for You. Let our national leaders stop playing politics and do what is best for for the people of this nation, help them to lead with integrity and moral uprightness, let the ulterior motives be exposed and let the do what is right.
8. Thanksgiving – “Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God; I will render praises to You,” Psalms 56:12
Lord, I thank You for Your blessings this week, for making a way where I did not see that there was a way. I praise You for Your provision and thank You that I can trust that You will finish the good work in me that You have begun and that You will bring to completion the works that You predestined for me to complete. I thank You for the people that You have placed in my life that encourage me in You, that help me to step out in obedience to You, and call the things out in me that I am unable to see. Thank You for YOur hand on my life, and for the changes that I see in those You have allowed me to pour into. Lord, thank You for the wonderful teaching that You have connected me to, and how it reinforces things that You have already revealed to me to take it to a deeper level. Thank You for my husband and for our children and grandchildren. Thank You for my siblings and my extended family. Thank You for my friends.
9. Singing – ““For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12

Lyrics:
Over the mountains and the sea
Your river runs with love for me
And I will open up my heart
And let the Healer set me free
I’m happy to be in the truth
And I will daily lift my hands
For I will always sing of when
Your love came down
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
I could sing of Your love forever
Oh, I feel like dancing
It’s foolishness I know
But when the world has seen the light
They will dance with joy
Like we’re dancing now
10. Meditate – “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6
Lord, You have always taken care of every need in my life. You have cared for me in ways I didn’t even understand at the time. You have taught me how to rest in You. You restore me. You guide me in the path of righteousness and make my ways straight, help me to stay on Your straight path knowing that I have no fear when I am in Your will for my life, regardless of what I face You are there, You pull me close to protect me from danger, and defend me from attacks. You comfort me, You feed me, You anoint me, You bless me to overflowing. Because You are my Shepherd, goodness and mercy have followed me, I look forward to dwelling in Your house forever.
I hear that I need to stay on Your path of righteousness, where You are leading.
11. Listen – “Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by.” Psalms 57:1
God is my Refuge, my Shepherd, He leads me to still and living waters to restore me. He desires me to take hold of His hand and to walk in faith and boldness regardless of the circumstances surrounding me. He has a path for me to take, that if I will follow His leading with bring me to the goodness that He has planned. It may not always be easy, but He will provide and protect as I am follow Him. His plan is for me and may not align with the rest of the crowd, but I have to stop complaining and trust Him.
12. Praise – “The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.” Psalms 64:10
I praise You Lord, I am glad in You, You are faithful And even in what feels like randomness, You confirm the things that You have been speaking to me throughout this week. But I don’t believe that is by accident, but is rather a confirmation from my God who cares deeply for me. I praise You that You are at work in my life And that I can see Your hand moving, even though I’m not sure where I’m headed. I praise You that I can trust You, God that You have created in me a pattern of discipline, and a foundation that is rooted and grounded in You. I praise You that as I become vulnerable to be obedient to You that I can rely on Your strength to see me through and to help me to accomplish the good works that You prepared before the foundation of the world for me. I praise You that You are the living water I praise You that You are my shepherd I praise You that You are my refuge I praise You for You are my straight path.
