We often walk through our lives as Christians condemned by our past actions. We let the enemy, our flesh and others condemn us even though Jesus said our transgressions, every sin is dismissed without prejudice. God’s is the God of second chances. Dismissed without prejudice is a legal term that means a case is permanently dismissed and cannot be refiled. This type of dismissal is final and prevents the plaintiff from bringing the same claim against the defendant in the future.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”Romans 8:1-2
“As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalms 103:12
When we take responsibility for our sin, when we confess it, God is faithful to forgive us. He does not condemn us. He removes it from us. Our sin is dismissed without prejudice. We can walk in His freedom.
