Advent Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we head into this Advent season, let us each remember in the midst of the busyness, family, friends, holiday plans, the gifts, and the parties, as Christians remember why we celebrate Christmas. As we give, let Your love be the center. As we receive, let Your love be the center. Bless those who are less fortunate, let every need be met. Be with those who are alone, surround them with people so they don’t feel so lonely. Those who mourn during this time, bring them comfort. Help us to keep Christ at the center of our hearts and minds. In Jesus name. Amen.
