A Prayer before Elections

Lord forgive this nation of our sins. We have taken You from the place of honor in most arenas of our society. We have killed millions of Your children. We have called evil good and good evil. We have compromised in so many ways that have taken us farther from You. We are filled with lust, pride, greed and hatred. Lord, I pray that we would turn back to You. Help us to understand the errors of our way, repent and seek Your face, your forgiveness and You will. I pray that every person who calls themself Your child would get out and exercise their right to vote. I pray that our leaders would walk with integrity and do what is just and walk humbly before You. I pray for a revival in this nation. Return us to You, Holy Spirit draw those who don’t know You. Heal our land. In Jesus name. Amen.
