Joined to Him

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭17‬

There is a part of me that understands true healing can only come through the Lord. When we allow every part of ourselves to join with Him, there is wholeness. We take our ways and submit them to His ways. We take our thoughts captive and bring them into obedience to His Word. We allow our hear to break with the things that break His heart. We learn not to be governed by our flesh and emotions but governed by His Spirit. We bring our words in line with His words.

As long as there are parts we try to keep from Him, we are not truly joined to Him. His Spirit within us brings healing and wholeness that are only available through the finished work of Christ at the cross. We have to make the choice to receive what has already been provided.

Lord, I want complete healing. It is simple to say but not easy to do. Help me to be able to completely surrender, in absolute abandonment to You.
