Heavenly Father, this month has seen so much tragedy in our nation from natural disasters, man made problems, and the effects of sin, but I praise You and know that You are still on the throne. I pray for those who are currently trapped in these areas, Lord get help to them. Help them to be seen and heard and to get to a place of safety. Lord, for those who have lost people, I pray for Your peace and comfort to surround them as they mourn and grieve. For those who have lost everything or even some things, I pray that You meet their needs.
Lord, I ask that You would activate the Church to be Your hands and feet I this area for it is us that You called, not the government to meet the needs of Your people. I pray for protection for those who working in these areas for the paid, the volunteers and the families. Lord, give the leaders of the organizations in these areas and the government wisdom in how to proceed in rebuilding these areas.
Lord I also pray against all the false information that is being spread in the news and social media, let the truth come to light. Lord, Let the reliable sources come forth instead of just rumors and blatant lies. In Jesus name. Amen.
