“So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” Psalms 90:12
A heart of wisdom is presented to God, when we number our days. Many times we spend our days wishing for another time.
When we are young we just want to adult.
As an adult, we wish for childhood.
As children we see the freedom, but don’t understand the responsibility that comes with it. As adults we see the responsibility and don’t understand the freedom that we truly have.
When we take the time to number our days, God gives us the wisdom to realize that we have a responsibility to walk in the freedom that Christ died for us to have. We don’t take it for granted, but instead look for every opportunity to use what He has placed inside of us and called us to do during our days on earth. We recognize that the freedom is really in the truth of understanding that Christ is the one who set us free. We have wisdom to understand that only when we are walking by Holy Spirit are we truly free.
