Praise – I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies. Psalm 54:6-7
Lord, I praise You for being my firm foundation. Thank You for a day of relaxation on Saturday, enjoying Your beauty and fellowshiping. Thank You for who You are and Your hand of protection and provision in my life.
Wait – Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. Psalm 25:5
Lord, I feel like you have been showing me how selfish I am and have been. Teach me to really make it all about You, not all about me! Forgive me for making it about me, when I know that it never has been, it has always been about You.
Confession – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Thank You Lord that You hear my confession of sins and are faithful to forgive me. I am sorry for my thoughts and how I have treated others. Forgive me and create in me a clean heart. Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Read the Word – Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.
So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.” Matthew 26:36-46
Lord, as I read this passage I just thought I want people who are with me and will pray for me. You took three with You as You went off to pray, although all were with You in the garden. Give me three that I can trust to pray Your will for me consistently. And give me the boldness to ask.
Petition – My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness,
Nor shall evil dwell with You.
The boastful shall not stand in Your sight;
You hate all workers of iniquity.
You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;
The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy;
In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple. Psalm 5:3-7
Lord, help me to honor You with my body. Help me to eat things that nourish this temple and to get physical exercise. Show me what You want me to do with coaching to get it up and off the ground and supporting the Kingdom. Lord bless my marriage, help each of us to be the person that You created us to be. Give us unity in a Kingdom purpose. Bless and protect our children and grandchildren and help them to walk in You.
Intercession – Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Lord I pray for the presidential candidates and other leaders for their safety. Bring to light the evils that are being plotted in this country. Lord I lift up my spiritual leaders and ask You to give them wisdom, a fresh anointing, let them walk worthy of Your calling on their life. Lord I lift up my workplace asking that You would keep those positions filled with good providers for Your people and good staff to support them.
Pray the Word – The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 58:11-14
Lord You guide me continually and satisfy my soul in dry times. You strengthen my body and my bones. You are the living water that helps me grow. You have brought to life the old dead places in my life and regenerated the foundations that my family laid in You. You are a Repair of the Breach and a Restorer of the streets and I dwell in. Help me Lord not to turn away from the Sabbath and from doing Your pleasure on the holy day You have set aside. Let me delight in the Sabbath and honor You in all my ways. Help me to delight myself in You and to eat from the provision that You have laid for me.
Thanksgiving – Thank you Lord for your protection and provision in my life. Thank You for salvation. Thank you for my family, my parents and siblings my aunties and cousins my grandparents, my husband, my children, and grandchildren, my in-laws, and my outlaws. Lord thank You for my church family. Thank You for my friends. Thank You for the community that You have placed me in. Thank You for Israel.
Singing – Let the words on my mouth o Lord be acceptable in thy sight. Let the meditation of my heart praise You day and night.
Meditate – Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22
Lord the burden of my heart is wanting to do Your will. I feel like I am supposed torn between two locations, one I want to be at and the other I do not. Now I am hearing the providers might leave again. I am concerned about taxes. I want to publish and do coaching, but I feel like I don’t know where to start. I know You will sustain me, You will not permit me to be moved, so I cast these cares upon You.
Listen – So Joshua conquered all the land: the mountain country and the South and the lowland and the wilderness slopes, and all their kings; he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded. And Joshua conquered them from Kadesh Barnea as far as Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even as far as Gibeon. All these kings and their land Joshua took at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel. Joshua 10:40-42
Lord, I believe that You have brought me to these things and that You will conquer them through me for Your glory.
Praise – Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26
Thank You Holy Spirit for interceding to God on my behalf for the will of God. Empower to walk it out.
