A Time

Lord, Your word tells us To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: thank You there is A time to be born – be with every family that is preparing for and celebrating the birth of a child. We ask you to to comfort those facing a time to die and their families and friends;

Lord give wisdom to the farmers about the best time to plant, And provide them laborers during time to pluck what is planted.

Lord we may not understand Your ways, but You say there is a time to kill, so give us discernment.

Lord, thank You there is a time to heal. We ask for healing for all those suffering physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We also ask for healing for this nation.

Lord You made a time to break down, so break down anything in Your people that does not belong And usher in a time to build up to help us walk in the ways of the Lord completely.

You have given us a time to weep, help us to mourn our sins and repent as a nation and as Your people. Thank You for a time to laugh, You give us joy unspeakable and the good medicine of laughter.

Lord You give us a time to mourn, help us to celebrate the life or the dreams, and truly mourn the loss so that we can move forward in your plans for our lives.

You have given us a time to dance, teach us to move with the rhythm of Your heart beat and give glory to You in our dance. You have given us a time to cast away stones, and while stoning others is not really popular practice anymore, I ask for the stone of bullying to be cast away from our schools and in the lives of our children.

Lord, You instructed the Israelites of a time to gather stones, help us to use stones as a memorial to what great things You have done in our lives. You have given us a time to embrace, let us comfort one another and show love to our neighbors. You have set a time to refrain from embracing, help us to stop embracing the lies of this world.

You have given us a time to gain, help us to gain Your wisdom and understanding. You have given us a time to lose, help us to lose our lives in You taking up our cross daily for the Kingdom.

You have set a time to keep, help us to keep You first place in our lives and to keep Your commands and precepts. You gave us a time to throw away, help us to throw away our worries, doubts and fears.

Thank You for a time to tear, when You tore the veil in two that separated us from You, providing us the opportunity for relationship with God the Father. Help us to make the most of a time to sew, as ministers of reconciliation, mending what has been unsightly tore.

Lord, Your people have taken a time to keep silence to long we have sat back and watched so many godly things be removed from our society so help us to take a time to speak the truth in love. Help us during this time to love to show Your agape love to all around us. And let us use time to hate to hate what is evil.

Let us use the time of war, to wrestle in the spiritual for our loved ones and our nations, and let a time of peace that surpasses all understanding fill our lives. In Jesus name amen.
