Heavenly Father, our great and perfect Teacher, we come to You on behalf of the children of this county, state and nation as they head back to school. Lord, we ask that You direct their paths, guard their minds and their bodies, as they go about learning. Help them to discern and cast down every argument and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Lord protect them from the attacks of the enemy that would try to challenge their true identity in You, ground our children in the truth of Your Word, let every good seed that is planted take root and thwart the enemy’s plans to steal, kill and destroy our children.
Lord be with the teachers, bus drivers, and other school staff and administrators and help them to see each child with Your eyes, help them to respond with love and compassion, in the best interest of the long term welfare of every child. Lord give them courage to walking in integrity and for Your servants, to stand up for godly principles that will help the children to grow and flourish. Lord, help Your followers be a light in the darkness, expose any agenda that is not of You and let this be a safe and successful school year for the children and school staff.
Lord I also ask that you would be with those going to college, help them also to be safe and learn, guard their minds from woke agendas. Give them wisdom and discernment and help the college students to encounter You. Bring revival to New Mexico campuses. In Jesus name. Amen.
