Citizen of Heaven

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Philippians 3:20-21

I had an odd thought as I wrote this Scripture out. What if there is only one body in heaven (besides the angels) because we as believers are the body of Christ? I’m not sure where the thought comes from but it just sat with me.

I am a citizen of Heaven. I know I’m waiting for Jesus to return. Only then will I be completely conformed into His image. And that one day, everything will be as it should.

Lord I love You and I pray that You help me to submit to Your will. Help me to recognize the things of this world are only temporal.
